    As an Emergency Preparedness Commissioner for the City of Hermosa Beach, I strongly support improved safety of the Torrance refinery.

    At this time I respectfully request the City Council to not to take a position on this issue.

    I do not believe the City Council has publicly presented justification to oppose MHF, and any opposition is only political.

    I am extremely disappoint that the City Council decided to bypass the Emergency Preparedness Advisory Commission in this process, as I am in favor of an open and honest debate on this issue.

    Please support the opposition to MODIFIED HYDROFLUORIC ACID at the Torrance refinery. This dangerous chemical needs to be replaced. thank you.
