Council Meeting Topic: Should we buy into “Community Choice Aggregation” so we can say we are carbon free by 2045?
The short answer is NO! The reasons are many! I know I can’t convince the “woke” among you, or any of you, for that matter, of the folly of your mission. You won’t concede there are credible scientists with facts that directly contradict “so called” evidence provided by the IPCC. You won’t concede that billions of dollars in research grants dangling above the hungry tongues of scientists, willing to sell their souls for a bit of immortality, have, perhaps, had undue influence. You will not concede that the predictions from the IPCC of eminent doom or existential threats have been grossly overstated! Predictions made by computer prove the old adage of “garbage in equals garbage out”!
Having a “third party” operate as middle man between us and Southern California Edison makes no financial sense. I’ve already chosen to stay with my current plan. My electricity bill is far below most because I don’t have a mansion and I don’t have lights on in every room in the house. It’s called being frugal. Try it!
