City Manager performance evaluation is on closed session. You should NOT modify the City Manager's salary or contract when 2/5 or 3/5 of the current city council will no longer be serving in a few months. That would be incredibly disrespectful to the community and incoming council, and would be unheard of in our town. No prior city council has ever locked in a City Manager's salary or contract just prior to a new council coming in. Please assure our community that this is NOT what you intend to do.
